Shop by ALA mg, not flax-oil mg. The general adult adequate intake (AI, not RDA — no RDA exists for ALA) is just 1600mg/day for men, 1100mg/day for women, trivially met by well under a full tablespoon. The critical dose-response caveat, and the reason this page exists: raising the ALA dose further does not proportionally raise EPA, and essentially never moves DHA regardless of dose.
