Corrections & Changelog
Our policy: if something on this site is wrong — a stale price, a miscalculated cost-per-dose, a citation that doesn't support the claim — we fix it and log the change here, in public, with the date. We'd rather show a correction than pretend we never erred.
Found a problem? Email [email protected]. We read every message and aim to respond within a few business days.
How we try to prevent errors in the first place
- Every PubMed ID is verified against the live PubMed API before a page is published — a claim without a checkable source doesn't ship.
- Product label data comes from the NIH Dietary Supplement Label Database (DSLD), not from marketing copy.
- Cost-per-effective-dose is calculated by formula, not estimated — and the formula is shown on every comparison page.
- Prices change. We review them periodically, but the live retailer price is always the source of truth. If a price here is stale, tell us and we'll update it.
What counts as a correction
We log any change to a published claim, citation, price, or ranking that was wrong when we published it — not routine content additions or normal price refreshes. The goal is accountability for mistakes, not a record of every edit.
Correction log
| Date | Where | Type | What changed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Site-wide | Process | Established this public corrections log and added a "Report an error" link to every page footer, so readers can flag outdated prices or incorrect claims directly. | |
| 4 supplement pages | Citation | Removed a citation (PMID 41601871) discovered to be invalid during an internal citation audit. Every PubMed ID on the site is now checked against the live PubMed API before publication. |
