  "methodology": "Labels were enumerated from the NIH Dietary Supplement Label Database by paging its search for children's, kids', toddler and infant probiotic terms and keeping labels with a probiotic organism whose product name says kid, child, toddler, infant, baby or junior; multivitamin-with-probiotic and other lines not sold as probiotics were excluded. Organisms and strain identifiers are read from Supplement Facts rows, declared forms and the ingredient statement; format from the filed physical state and product name; prebiotics from FOS, inulin, GOS or HMO in any row. CFU is available only where a label files a structured colony count, which almost none do, so no CFU distribution is published. Every figure was recomputed in two halves split by label-id parity; figures that did not agree within 8 points (shares) or 25% (medians) are not published.",
