  "methodology": "Labels were enumerated from the NIH Dietary Supplement Label Database by paging its ranked search for magnesium-gummy terms and keeping only labels whose filed physical state is Gummy or Jelly and whose Supplement Facts carry a magnesium row; labels sold as magnesium (magnesium in the product name, not multivitamin, calcium-magnesium, sleep or electrolyte gummies) were analysed. Elemental magnesium per serving = the row named Magnesium for the Supplement Facts serving; a row named for the salt (e.g. Magnesium Citrate 600 mg) is never credited as the dose. Daily dose = per-serving x maximum daily servings. Every figure was recomputed in two halves split by label-id parity; figures that did not agree within 8 points (shares) or 25% (medians) are not published. Cost per 100 mg = Amazon price / (elemental mg per serving x servings) x 100.",
