EVIDENCE CONTEXT: Yousefzadeh 2018 (PMID 30279143) found fisetin extended mouse lifespan and reduced senescence markers — the foundational MOUSE study behind all senolytic-fisetin marketing; it also tested human adipose-tissue EXPLANTS ex vivo (donated tissue in a dish), not a human clinical outcome. The ROPE trial (NCT04770064, Osteoarthritis and Cartilage, April 2025 OARSI conference-proceedings publication, no individual PMID — cited at conference-abstract evidentiary weight, not peer-reviewed-journal weight) is the ONE completed, randomized, placebo-controlled human efficacy trial of fisetin found for this pack, using the actual mouse-derived dose (20mg/kg x 2 days, 3 cycles, 28 days apart) in adults 40-80 with knee osteoarthritis: NO significant benefit vs placebo on pain, function, or cartilage health (185 adverse events, mostly minor, no between-group difference). Hickson 2019 (PMID 31542391) is a DASATINIB+QUERCETIN trial, NOT fisetin — cited only as the first human proof-of-concept that the senolytic drug CLASS reduces senescent-cell burden in people.
